Q. Are you open for dine in?
A. Yes. We will reopen for dine in at 25% capacity starting February 12th, 11:30am.
Q. How much is 25% capacity at Rae's Bistro?
A. At Rae's 25% capacity translates to 22 guests in the building at a time. Roughly 11 tables of 2 guests.
Q. Do we have to be from the same household to dine in?
A. Yes. The current guidelines only allows you to dine with guests from your same household.
Q. How will you verify my guests and I are from the same household?
A. As per the current public health order we are required to check ID at the door. Violating this will result in a $5,000 fine to Rae's Bistro. Please ensure you have your ID ready upon arrival.
Q. Can we pop in for alcohol beverages only?
A. No. The current public health orders requires you order a multi component meal with purchase of any alcohol beverages. Violating the order will result in a $5,000 fine to Rae's Bistro.
Q. What is a multi component meal?
A. A multi component meal is 2 unique components not including sauce. Ex) Burger and fries, pizza with toppings, wings and fries, soup and salad, eceterra......)
Q. Is there a curfew on dine in service?
A. Yes. The current heath order requires all guests vacate a restaurant by 10pm. We will be offering our take out and delivery service until 11pm on Friday and Saturday.
Q. Where can I view the current public health orders?
Q. Are you taking reservations?
A. Yes. We are offering half our capacity for reservations.
Q. Do I need a reservation?
A. No. We are saving half our capacity for walk in guests.
Q. What are your busiest times?
A. We expect 5:30PM - 7:00PM to be our busiest times. If you want to avoid other diners we recommend you come before or after rush.
Q. Do you offer happy hour?
A. Yes. We have an amazing new Happy Hour 2pm-5pm and 9pm to close, and ALL DAY SUNDAY! Another wonderful reason to come for early dinner.
Q. Does Happy Hour apply to take out and delivery?
A. No. Happy Hour is available to our dine in guests only.
Q. Will you be open for dine in on Valentines Day?
A. Yes. Rae's will be open for dine in, take out and delivery on February 14th, 2021 from 11:30am - 10:00pm.
Q. Do you offer takeout and delivery "reservations"?
A. Yes and No. We do offer same day time slot preorders for take out and delivery. We do not offer preorders any more in advance than same day.
Q. When do your phone lines open on Valentines Day?
A. Our phone lines open at 11:30am for same day time slot preorders on February 14th, 2021. We will have 4 operators ready at that time to assist you.
Q. What is a same day time slot preorder?
A. It allows you to call earlier in the day and preorder delivery or take out for a specific time that evening. We do have limited time slot preorders available. They are offered on a first come first served basis.
Q. What time does your delivery service start?
A. Our delivery service starts 4:00pm daily. Given 72 hours advance notice special arrangements can be made for orders over $200 outside of regular delivery hours.
Q. Can I order Rae's through Skip The Dishes?
A. No. You can only order Rae's direct over the phone. We chose to create our own team of delivery drivers, take out operators and expeditors. It's important to us to continue to provide all 25 members of the Rae's family a stable and consistent work environment.
Q. Can I order alcohol for take out delivery?
A. Yes. We offer wine, craft beer and sangria for take out and delivery. Your order must have a food component and government ID is required to accept delivery or takeout of the alcohol.
Q. Do you sell whole cakes?
A. No. Due to limited oven space and working hours we cannot offer whole cakes at this time. It is our number one request from guests. If anything changes we will be sure to announce it on Instagram, Facebook and our website.
Q. Do you offer curbside pickup?
A. Yes. We curbside the majority of our take out orders.
Q. Do you offer contactless delivery?
A. Yes. We also offer tap on site for debit cards.
Q. What forms of payment do you accept?
A. Cash, Debit, American Express, Visa, Mastercard, Diners Club and Discover.
Q. Are you accepting gift cards?
A. Yes. We accept and sell our credit card style gift cards. They have no expiry date. You can even have one delivered or mailed out as a gift.
Q. Do you accommodate allergies?
A. Yes. We create all our sauces, dressings and dishes from scratch. We are confident we can safely serve our guests with allergies.
Q. Are you fully accessible?
A. Yes, with notice. Please let us know in advance if you have any accessibility requirements for your group. We will happily make you a reservation. Call and speak to Danny, Jill or Jacob.
Q. What is the largest group you can accommodate?
A. We can accommodate groups of up to 5 guests.
Q. What if I have more than 5 guests?
A. We can split your party into two separate tables.
Q. Do I have to wear a mask in your restaurant?
A. Yes and no. You will have to wear a mask whenever standing up or walking around. Once you are seated you can remove your mask at the table for the duration of your visit.
Q. What if I don't own a mask?
A. We provide complimentary masks for you at the door.
Q. Do you need our contact information?
A. Yes. Manitoba Health requires we obtain one guests contact information per group. This information is not used for marketing and will be permanently destroyed after 21 days.
Q. When will you open for full capacity?
A. We are awaiting public health orders from the government of Manitoba on this matter.
